The main aim of this consultancy is to address the observed gaps in the ESIA documents as identified by the Environmental and Social Due Diligence (ESDD) Study carried out in September 2021 and prepare an independent Addendum ESHIA and Biodiversity Assessment Reports for the 4 sites including specific Management Plans. This Addendum study is carried out in compliance with the Environmental Legislation of Sierra Leone, IFC Performance Standards, EIB Environmental and Social Standards, The Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Guidelines, and International Labour Organization (ILO) Conventions.

The Study Outputs:

• Preparation of detailed ecological reports per site for Dry and Wet Seasons with recommendations on mitigation measures that will help avoid or minimize impacts on Biodiversity and Habitats;
• Prepare site-specific Addendum ESHIA Report for each of the 4 sites that meet the National regulations and guidelines, IFC Performance Standards, and European Investment Bank’s Environmental and Social Principles and Standards.

Preparation of specific Management Plans (Stakeholder Engagement Plan, Biodiversity Management Plan among others).
