From a Dutch-African joint venture to a proudly Kenyan-owned consultancy, PANAFCON has delivered trusted solutions across Africa since 1990.

Pan-African Consultants (PANAFCON) was incorporated on July 27, 1990, as a subsidiary of the Dutch-based DHV International Group. In 2002, it was acquired by SSI, a South African DHV Company within the broader DHV Group (now Haskoning, formerly Royal HaskoningDHV). On December 1, 2009, PANAFCON became fully Kenyan-owned through a management buyout.

Over the years, PANAFCON has established itself as a trusted provider of professional consultancy services to private organizations, government entities, and both multilateral and bilateral development agencies across Kenya and the African region.

PANAFCON maintains an active cooperation agreement with Haskoning, a global team of sustainability consultants, engineers, and designers committed to enhancing society together. This partnership ensures access to international expertise, advanced systems, and a wealth of technical experience gained from decades of project work across Africa. It enables us to deliver solutions that are both locally grounded and globally informed, driving sustainable impact for our clients and communities.
